The fibers are worsted spun into a single-ply yarn that is surprisingly strong, yet still lofty. The fibers have a micron count of 22-24 making it soft to the touch, and yet it retains a rustic look, emphasized by our hand dyeing technique. Our sport and worsted wools are great for felting - we suggest hand washing only for non-felted items. All colorways are available in our RUSTIC sport and worsted weight yarns. Ball Size: FLUX & Semi-Solid: 50g/1.76 oz balls - Worsted (77 meters/85 yards) & Sport (133 meters/145 yards) OMBRÉ: 75g/2.64 oz balls - Worsted (115 meters/127 yards) & Sport (199 meters/217 yards) REFINED (available at select retailers) A blend of 70% merino and 30% silk. This yarn is a smooth 10 ply with a luxurious soft hand. The silk adds just a hint of sheen. It is available in worsted and sport weights and comes from Peru. We also offer a 70% Alpaca and 30% Silk Lace yarn as part of the Refined collection. RUSTIC FINGERING and LACE This is a blend of 75% wool from Colorado spun with 25% nylon for added strength. Our lightweight, soft lace yarn is a superwash but we recommend hand washing for longevity. Fingering can safely be machine washed in cool tempuratures. Fingering and Lace are offered in our Flux, Ombré and Semi-Solid colorways.
